When I got the CRUD interface working on the non-profit database. So I didn't know I'd be able to do it until I actually did it ;). The system I built replaced their old system, which was literally pieces of paper in filing cabinets.

I wanted to get into tech anyway. My friend (dm8 on HN) introduced me to Hacker News in 2009 and it was a life-changing experience. It was my first peek into the whole scene.
