I’m waiting for this feature so bad. This is fanboy-ing, but the writing is on the wall with the release of Logic and FCP for iOS. Currently, these have which have weird multitasking restrictions that are probably going to overcome in the next couple of iOS release cycles. Apple is rumored to be working on a low-cost notebook to compete with Chromebooks in the edu space. I imagine this will be iOS-based (iBook, anyone?) and will need some sort of keyboard/mouse-based UI. This UI then be carried over to USB-C phones too, but feature differentiation will restrict it to Pro phones only (like Samsung does with S and A phones for DeX).
