Yeah shorter radio edits have been around a long time. As an artist, if you want to make longer songs just release 2 versions, sure there are some just chasing dollars who do not care about that My gripe is the newer recommendations algos seem worse than those from 10 years ago, like there was nothing wrong with simple "people who liked this song also played these songs" I listen to many genres so I think my listening profile is a bit diluted/varied
