In the field I work there's the practice in Spanish language publishers of publishing a print run of a certain amount of copies, and then let it fall out of print with no reprints whatsoever. And no e-book formats. Want to purchase a copy? Sorry, no luck. Not even print-on-demand for ya. Or, you want to read your ebook in Linux, but the publisher puts DRM on it with a stupid Digital Editions which forces you to install hostile software with a crappy UI on Windows for the privilege of reading what you have already purchased. I'd say go libgen, go ahead!! For such cases, libgen is a godsend.
