Just read the rubbish coming out of their districts, administrators, and teachers. It’s grammatically terrible, semantically low quality, and turgid as hell. I used to seethe every time the denizens of their $30,000 a year private school sent home any messages because the writing was atrocious (same with the public schools). I made more as a writer than these teachers ever did, but when I taught my kids how to write crisply and succinctly, they got C’s. They had to rewrite it in teacherese in order to get good grades.
