India calls X a 'habitual non-compliant platform'
- NoZebra120vClip 3y agoWell, "habitual" is an adjective. I can't find the original ruling, but I did find this gem at the Times of India: NEW DELHI: Amidst its ongoing tussle with `X', formerly known as Twitter, over takedown orders, the government told the Karnataka high court bench that the micro-blogging website is a habitual- compliant[sic] platform. (Times of India did their best to prevent me from copy-pasting that under fair use, and wants me to share it in a Tweet!) Perhaps it works different, I mean works differently, in Indian English; I don't know.
- KenArrari 3y agoComing from india, is this supposed to be a bad thing? It's embarrassing that they comply with any takedown orders at all.
- vGPU 3y ago> X-Corp and the Modi government have been at loggerheads since 2021 when the former refused to block certain accounts related to farmers’ protests. Seems like a perfectly valid reason to refuse.
