Ask HN: Good Resources for Finding Temp Jobs
I want to earn some extra money, but I don't want a full-time job.
Are there any good resources for finding temp jobs?
- donkeysquid 3y agoAre you looking for a software related job or just anything that pays?
- gavinhoward 3y agoAnything that pays. Low skill is fine. I don't think I'd find a programming job.
- notsurenymore 3y agoIn that case I think local temp agencies are what you’re looking for.
- herz0g 3y agoI use zenjob since a while and am quite happy with it.
- wakahiu 3y agoWork your network making it known you are available for hire. Don’t use platforms such a upwork, they are simply a race to the bottom.
- vintageclothldn 3y agoAgreed with this. The vast majority of my work has come through word of mouth. I've only found time wasters on Upwork who generally have high expectations and low budgets.
