What’s funny is that Americans don’t seem to realize Europeans can see the cost of all the shiny things like trillion dollar companies, billionaires, “cool” services and the like all the way from across the ocean. To most of them, everytime someone is trying to yank their chain by talking about “losing out” or lack of big tech companies, it’s the equivalent of someone suffering from the bubonic plague bragging about their fashionable buboes.
