Cyberpunk 2077’s 2.0 Update Feels Like a Different Game
- c0balt 3y agoI really look forward to the DLC and the latest update. After playing through most endings in 2021 it has been awesome to see their consistent updates and I would love to take another try at it. While not as extensive as the Witcher 3, which stiill get's updates with, e.g., DLSS, it has been a good sigb. Though it's somewhat unfortunate that CD Project Red didn't plan more than one DLC as there was quite a bit of material left in the Cyberpunk world.

- nonplus 3y agoSpeculation: I think redEngine not panning out/having to move to ue5 for new projects changed their overall plans. If going their own way had worked out I think they would have invested the extra time and energy that went into this one dlc, getting 2.0 out the door, and lovingly updating Witcher 3 into more DLC content.
- prashp 3y agoWe will see. Despite all the updates, for CP77 I found both the story (main and side quests) and the combat to be disappointing and shallow. It felt like a chore to play
- IronWolve 3y agoI rather enjoyed the game, but agreed on the side quests, the game had no repeat factor after the story. (for me)
