Customers hate MVPs. Make a SLC instead
- syndicatedjelly 3y agoThat "modes of transportation" example did not make any sense to me. When developing a prototype, it's not hard to make something shiny and works well in isolation and briefly. It's hard to make something work reliably over long periods of time. So in the early stages, things like quality, error-handling, and documentation are placed on the back-burner so the team can focus on core functionality. Going back to that example, I can't imagine why it would be a good idea for a team to build the equivalent of the frame of a car and share with a customer, or build a scooter first with the promise that a rocketship is coming soon. Neither of those would instill any trust in the customer that the company knows what it's doing
