- janandonly 3y agoA rich kid, from rich white privileged parents. Has never been held accountable for anything in his life before. Mum and dad always paid bail and “made it go away.” Now, for the first time ever, reality strikes. No wonder he just can’t adjust. It will take time. Some never get there at all. It’s sad but true. And be honest, if you were a rich parent and your kid did “something silly” possibly under the influence of “bad friends” wouldn’t you bail out your kid just as well? This is al so very natural. Very few people manage the self restraint to let a kid learn from his mistakes.
- lordfrito 3y agoSaw this comment (not mine) regarding the article. Speaking as a lawyer, now retired, I find this story amazing. I never had a client who provided the prosecution with 250 pages of party admissions. and I can't help wondering what I'd have done if I'd ever had one. The only thing I can think of is breaking all his fingers. I guess this is what it looks like when a narcissist implodes? Builds up an internal world where he's the main protagonist and they don't understand him / they're out to get him? The amount of mental energy he's expending trying to make sense of what happened to him must be exhausting. Fascinating stuff going on here.
