- zzo38computer 3y agoThe first part is true (as far as I know from the other comments here; I do not know the history of United States much and do not live in United States, but I will assume it is true and I will believe you), but the second part is not necessarily true (we cannot figure it out ahead of time; it is possible to be true though but also possibly not). There are other reason to be banned, e.g. to avoid second hand smoke (that is what I want to avoid, and if it can somehow be permitted in a way that restricts their use to their own personal use and not affecting the air outside for all other people/animal/trees/etc then they should do that somehow, I think). I live in Canada and the marijuana being permitted does have the problem like I mention above, like cigarette smoking also did, so it should be considered.
