I liked the middle paragraph in your comment. The rest was pointless garbage. The GP gave a very thorough and enlightening description of the test development process. There's no sense in attacking the messenger: he wasn't positioning himself as an apologist; he was merely informing us what goes into these tests.
- jasonwatkinspdx 15y agoFair enough. I didn't think of my post as an attack, but if it read as one, I should consider softening my language more. But from my perspective, the subtext of the post was "you don't know how hard this is, you should just be happy about what we do have". I think we need to demand more, and those of us who can contribute to educational reform, contribute more.
