It does stand to reason that when you interact with ChatGPT in English, you're tapping into the english knowledgebase of Japan which is going to be less correct and in depth than that of Japanese texts. No different to reading an English translation of a Japanese book, it'll never be an exact transfer of knowledge and emotion. That said I have found it a pretty good study partner, you just can't treat it like an authority.
