- TheRealPomax 3y agoIt's a sad world where people aren't allowed to be sarcastic on social media about industry choices that impact them. Poe's law [1] still applies. [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poe%27s_law https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poe%27s_law
- bowsamic 3y agoThey're allowed to be sarcastic, it's just annoying, especially posting weird NSFW furry-ish fan art alongside it. It's a vibe that I hate and it immediately signals that they're a person I don't want to be around EDIT: I'm being downvoted. Are you guys really okay with this stuff??
- brucethemoose2 3y agoThe game is anthropomorphic, quite irreverant and sarcastic. I don't see anything NSFW unless you mean hand holding. The feed's style fits the devs pretty well. I don't see anything off putting in that kind of way...
- bowsamic 3y agoI mean, the image literally shows two cartoon characters making out with saliva everywhere. How is that SFW?
- TheRealPomax 3y agoI have no idea what image you're talking about, the tweet's avatar is just one of the lambs, there are no screenshots in the tweet, and scrolling through the thread there is no furry art. So the downvotes are probably because the comment doesn't appear related to the content that got posted? If you're browsing their profile and see content you don't like, just stop browsing their profile. (You're free to hate all the things you hate, but a HN comment thread is almost certainly not the place to vent about that)
- bowsamic 3y agoIt's literally the linked image
- sp332 3y agoAre you not able to see this image on the linked tweet? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/F58Gw06aMAAIKJo?format=jpg&name=900x900 https://pbs.twimg.com/media/F58Gw06aMAAIKJo?format=jpg&name=...
- brucethemoose2 3y agoHeh, I didn't see it on X, maybe because I am not logged in. As far as Twitter goes, I wouldn't call it particularly NSFW.
- lnxg33k1 3y agoI mean they’re kissing, I’d call it nsfw only in religious churches/ mosques and in psychiatric wards
- ipaddr 3y agoI didn't downvote and the gamer/fury world doesn't interest me but I like seeing many different active communities existing online. One day our interests may align until then keep creating culture.
- mock-possum 3y agoThe joke pic of the lamb making out with the angry birds bird? Yeah of course everyone is okay with it, it’s two cartoon mascots kissing. Are you just being weird about furry stuff for some reason?

- tredre3 3y agoThis is a good example of Poe's law. In other words they weren't sarcastic. It was a stunt. Pure and simple.
- mortureb 3y agoA lot of that culture around gaming and gamers is shut in culture where you get a lot of drama and acerbic conversation because for many that’s their only source of entertainment and agency. Obviously this doesn’t refer to the millions of casual gamers who couldn’t be pissed about what is going on outside of the hour they spend a night gaming.
- bowsamic 3y agoI agree. Very "Discord voice chat friends group"
