You don’t even need a full stand up desk. You can just get an adjustable stand aka standing desk convertor which start from $100. Most of them are manually adjustable and easy to use. You want to be able to easily switch from standing to sitting multiple times a day anyways. It’s not healthy to fully sit or fully stand the entire work day. Motorized standing desks are great too, but I figured that you didn’t want to commit $300 upfront before you tried it for some time Also agree with another comment about the need for a gel cushion mat or soft shoes / sandals while using these desks in the standing position.
