So your proposed alternative is to let the rich get away with not paying their taxes, and taxing the poor instead?
- prepend 3y agoIt’s not exclusive. You can tax multiple groups. The financial problem can only be solved by taxing the middle class and cutting costs. Of course you can tax the rich, that helps but is not sufficient. Taxing the poor isn’t very effective because they are poor and don’t have much to tax.
