I scanned the article for Keats and no mention, poor form ArsT.
According to legend this is a bitter reference to his self-perception as somebody dismissed cruelly by critics, his work to be forgotten and who may as well have never existed.
- hinkley 3y agoTo be fair the scientists are German. Probably not up on English literature. It’s such a profound statement I don’t think it’s easy to forget once you know it. But then who knows what Keats’ epitaph was? Except English lit majors and Dan Simmons fans?
