Possible hints of life found on distant planet – how excited should we be?
- ggm 3y agoNot very. Spectrograph results at this distance are subject to many confounding possible alternatives. It's "it could be, ignoring all the other things it can be too" Also important to remember "organic chemicals" doesn't mean what it says on the label, it means carbon-carbon carbon-hydrogen ring and chain structures. The exist in interstellar space from what I read.
