I like Docker. From a user perspective, although maybe a bit technical, it makes running certain applications a total breeze. I have a small laptop connected to my power that's running ubuntu and I use it as a host for many self-hosted applications... docker really shines here, it takes away a lot of complexity from having to maintain these applications. I also have used Docker to develop and deploy my own web-applications, after learning how to use the tool I was really surprised at the simplicity behind it. Now, it's not perfect, volumes can be tricky to use sometimes... but overall, I'm really happy.
