LockDB is a cross-platform tool you can use to handle process/event locking and avoid race conditions. It is sometimes also known as a semaphore. There are packages for Node.js / Browser / Bun / NPM, Deno, and you can also use it as a CLI. I've been working on it for a couple of months now, and have a couple of projects using it to ensure a couple of important and resource-intensive cronjobs don't ever run in parallel. This is still very early, and at this point I'm trying to see if there's a need for this out there, and what do people think of the concept and API. Thank you!
