I did many semi-popular libraries for this engine, it was my first introduction to Lua, which eventually gave me a job (not on gamedev - openresty). The community was helpful and welcoming. I have not done gamedev in a while, finding the time is difficult with a growing family. But it still makes me happy when someone pings me about one of my libraries.
