- PaulHoule 3y agoI dunno. Hardly anybody remembers it, but a "crisis" is supposed to be an event instead of a "situation that goes on and on". Getting evicted is certainly a crisis but it's usually the culmination of a long process, particularly in New York where your landlord is probably going to have to file a "notice to quit" and wait 90 days before beginning an eviction proceeding.
