but the splash screen... - will make my app look like some demo...
- grogenaut 3y agoI worked on multiple AAA games they all had splash screens like "HAVOK"... is that really worth doing a totally new engine?
- MaximilianEmel 3y agoYeah, but Havok has that precedent set. Unity doesn't, and since the price was so low previously, the ones with the splashscreen were the ones not willing to spend even a bit of money. Whether it's warranted or not, it goes give that impression of demo/low-budget/low(er)-effort.
