I've had good results with the newish antihistamine levocetirizine (generic for Xyzal), as well as guaifenesin extended release pills for general mucus relief. Both are OTC and cheap in generic form.
- jstarfish 3y agoGuaifenisin fucks me up big time-- it always leaves me with bouts of existential depression and borderline psychosis a day or two later. YMMV-- age is definitely a factor. When I was younger (20s) I was able to handle it without issue.
