Space SpaceX’s near monopoly on rocket launches is a ‘huge concern’ Lazard warns
- bediger4000 3y ago"Lazard" is apparently a French investment bank, not Bob Lazar, the Area 51/UFO whistle blower, who until a few minutes ago, I thought was also "Lazard".
- JumpCrisscross 3y ago> "Lazard" is apparently a French investment bank There are a few Lazards. This one is in New York. (Its modern lineage traces to André Meyer and Felix Rohatyn [1].) It’s as French as Bank of America is Italian. [1] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/André_Meyer https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/André_Meyer
- hindsightbias 3y agoMaybe your huge concern should be investing in all those rocket companies that, you know, don't actually launch rockets.
- kotaKat 3y agoThis. It's only a "near monopoly" because everyone else hasn't got a minimum viable product yet to launch with. It's almost as if it's some kind of rocket science.
