who is the target audience for this product? if companies, imagine the discussion they need to have when your communication channel relies on random machines vs single company with SLA/SLOs + bunch of engineers employed
For enthusiasts maybe good, eventually maybe there will be ISP like providers which can guarantee hosting these nodes
- Manfred 3y agoThat's the cool thing about open source I guess. The target audience starts with the initial developer(s) who want to build it for their own reasons. Then others may find it and use it for their own purposes, even if it's just for education.
- totetsu 3y agoWho Is the Makers of this product is what i want to know also, because its not written anywhere.
- nine_k 3y agoI'd say that the target audience is (1) people who have some secrets to share among them, and (2) people who pretend they have such secrets, or just enjoy the feeling of extra privacy. The (1) may be good guys like whistleblowers, or journalists under oppressive regimes, or less so, like black market traders or gangsters. Also, a whole spectrum in between. The (2) are kids of all ages who love to play. If nobody plays with new tech, how can it even advance?
