I have no doubt this will be an insanely profitable investment for them. Retro games are much cheaper to make them AAA, and amenable to auteur indie gamemakers

I have no doubt this will be an insanely profitable investment for them. Retro games are much cheaper to make them AAA, and amenable to auteur indie gamemakers who can bring unique products to market that wouldn’t be possible with big studios. I’m not sure about the need for hardware in any of this though.
