Every time I log into windows and that “Lets finish setting up your computer” wizard starts, I feel abused, betrayed, and forced into whatever bullshit Microsoft wants to shove down my throat.
It sucks.
- me-vs-cat 3y agoHave you tried not logging into Windows? It was a huge effort for me to switch. Now almost 20 years later, I don't regret it. Wish I had done it sooner.
- survirtual 3y agoKDE skinned linux reminds me of the glory days of Windows, but modernized and upgraded. There is little reason for anyone of even modest technical abilities to be using windows now. Gaming was the last bastion of having Windows, but with Proton, Linux can run nearly any "Windows-only" game. It is a small effort to switch now. There has never been a better time.
