- outside1234 3y agoWho is Truist and how can they have so many people that cutting them could save $300M?!?!?
- SamoyedFurFluff 3y agoLooks like some kind of banking Corp, making a strong statement to avoid looking like Silicon Valley bank and others that busted suddenly
- nerdix 3y agoIt is a large bank (20 billion in revenue) with branches primarily located in Southern US states. It is the result of a merger between BB&T and SunTrust in 2019.

- mitthrowaway2 3y agoWell, the new CEO was paid $10.4 million in 2021, and the departing CEO $15 million, so you just need to cut about twenty-five such people. - iamthemonster 3y agoUS C-level pay is a world of its own. I work at a $60bn market cap company in a high cost of living Western country, the CEO is on a base salary of $2m and $2.5m on target performance pay (obviously variable). My 12-person engineering team outearns the CEO.
