I have used it as basic money for my degenerate online sports betting, buying hardware, and giving as gifts. First borns get 0.1 BTC! I also use it as a savings account. It's not nearly as interesting of an asset now that it tracks generally with large index funds though. Even if it seems useless, if you look at how much day trading and stonk manipulation there is in prices where _even doing better than expected in a quarter can be a negative somehow_, you'll see how ETFs and cypto alike are a numbers game + hot potato + yeah some useful value behind those numbers.
