Biden: 1.5°C rise in the next 10-20 years is scarier than nuclear war
- lucb1e 3y agoI'd believe that if this sort of speech would result in action or if they're saying they want to do more but are being blocked by others. I'm not seeing actions nor hearing such frustration, so that makes me think it's just nice words and a "white lie"?
- tuatoru 3y agoThe "actions" so far, such as subsidies for purchasing new EVs and feed-in tariffs for home PV installations, are government transfers to the already well-off. Essentially bribing those most likely to vote, while making them feel self-righteous and smug.
