- thedigitalone 3y agoExcellent, an archiver that works, thank you!
- wahnfrieden 3y agoUnder $4m/year revenue, nice work on the launch. Hope they're not giving too much of that haul back in revenue sharing or have more than 3-5 people working on the program.
- JohnnyHerz 3y agoI was thinking the same thing. obviously there is no way to determine success or failure at this point, but it seems like decent success so soon after launch. Considering the graveyard of monetization attempts from Twitter's past management (as well as many other soc media companies), this is looking like more than just another monetization attempt that tried and died.
- wahnfrieden 3y agoHow does let's say $3m revenue (a guess after the revenue sharing) compare with past attempts? 10 months in.
- suddenclarity 3y agoIf anyone else misread the headline, the article mentions that Musk himself has 40k X subscribers despite not posting any locked content since June. It's not the total number of subscribers on X.
- mgiannopoulos 3y agoSo Musk has 40k people paying him a subscription without him providing any subscribers-only content or even asking for people to subscribe. How is that any kind of indication on the overall success of subscriptions or even news worthy?
