This is what will replace diesel semis, right? Not the BEV semi (e.g. Tesla Cybertruck).
- ephbit 3y ago8 minute fueling to 900 kWh would be the equivalent of charging a BEV truck with 900 kWh battery at a staggering rate of 6.75 MW. I know, BEV semis would be charged slower over night while the driver sleeps/rests. Still, seems to me this ammonia FCEV tech scales so much better that it will make it very hard for BEV semis to compete. Even more so, because increasing the ammonia tank size is laughably trivial compared to trying to scale battery size for a BEV.
