Thank you, I won't jinx myself but I'm going on my thirty-sixth year as a motorcyclist including years riding (and bicycling) in NYC. I improve my odds by practicing annually and wearing fully armored gear including spine and chest protection. I ride more cautiously and anticipate more than I used to but I am aware it's not going to make a significant difference if a SUV crosses the center line at speed.
