I firmly believe that if we are to protect privacy by not selling or subpoenaing or misusing data about consumers, then that data must never be collected in the first place. If it is collected, then it will find a use, somehow, eventually. And it will be difficult to delete when the time comes. Good luck not collecting this stuff.
