Will Nvidia do something similar? If not dig themselves, could they actually design and license derivatives of Risc-v? I don't know how licensing works here.

- mhh__ 3y agoThey could but they have a very strong relationship / want to acquire arm so it might not make much sense in today's terms — for Nvidia, Arm/RISC-V is more of a software thing and they've spent a lot of money making their drivers and toolchain work on Arm so similar. My point WRT shovels is selling fabrication, which Nvidia can't do, to be clear.
