Atari pulls nostalgia power move and buys homebrew community forum
- kgwxd 3y agoZeroPage Homebrew did a stream today [1] talking about it with the community and some of the big homebrew developers. I started following the 2600 homebrew scene back in 2019, AtariAge and ZPH have been my favorite communities on the internet since. The optimism feels pretty low to say the least but, we'll see. - sixothree 3y agoI was watching a recent youtube video where the creator was suggesting that Atari should take advice from AtariAge forums. Maybe there will be a positive feedback cycle. Probably not.

- deelowe 3y agoWtf? They bought Atari age?
- Retric 3y agoI find it really bizarre when zombie IP like Atari keeps getting passed around after it has zero connection to the original company. But seeing stuff like this takes it to another level.
