I like to say that I "got caught telling the truth" for why I did poorly after commissioning in the Navy.
- StressedDev 3y agoI am sorry. It is always very very very hard when a manager or organization punishes people for telling the truth or trying to do the right thing.
- smitty1e 3y agoOh, don't get me wrong. Decades on, I realized that I transitioned poorly from "doing the do" to "managing the do". Needed someone senior to give me a noogie.
