I've gotten pretty good at ignoring/blocking trolls over the years.
FB has become a favorite place for old geezers to crap on each other.
About 5 years ago I started whittling down my "Friends List" to less than 100 because so many started ignoring/stopped caring about truth and facts and started getting so belligerent that keeping them around because a sort of self abuse.
I don't regret that all because things haven't gotten better since.
- swayvil 3y agoI hate it when people ignore the truth. We need a website called "truth.com" just to make it really clear what the truth is.
- oblib 3y agoI think the core problems are some people love bullshit and others are willing to sell it to them. That's become a booming business nowadays. Those that love and buy bullshit being sold don't care that it's bullshit. I have literally been told "I don't care if it's a lie, it's still the truth."
- swayvil 3y agoBullshit is like fiction. You know it isn't real, but you enter it anyway. And go along with it. And pretend its real. Maybe the love of bullshit is related to the love of fiction. Fiction is almost universally popular.
