(responding to a deleted comment) Plenty of these comments are about NSO. And that's fine! But trying to catch every blackhat won't solve our security problems. Ultimately, the only solution to these security holes is more secure software, and the only way to get that is to pressure Apple to invest more resources. The main question should be how come 'secure' Apple software keeps having 0-click exploits. Pressuring Microsoft led them to adopt a much more secure culture compared to previously. Apple shouldn't be exempt from the same pressure.
