Wow, this really puts in to perspective how hard the Appassionata is - I could barely keep up with the tempo doing the trills with one hand, I can't even imagine actually playing it. One day maybe :^D
- jacquesm 3y agoOnce upon a time I realized that Bach had invented macro expansion. The occasion was me trying to figure out why Partita 1 doesn't sound at all the way the notes are written, and what is that little wavy thing over the notes? It turns out that that little ornament expands into an 8 note sequence centered on the note written.
