I wonder how this interplays with https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_orphans_controversy https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_orphans_controversy (church institutions refused to return children they sheltered to their parents post war because the church had baptised them).
- gizmo686 3y agoAccording to the page you linked, the policy in question was specifically about children with no blood relatives to be returned to (which would have been a lot of them).
