Advert loudness should match the sound levels of the main program. People yelling at me will immediately cause me to mute the channel. If I happen to be watching time-shifted programs, I will automatically fast-forward through the ads. So, extra loud adverts will always backfire on the advertiser where I'm concerned. I will find a way to avoid them wherever possible.
