Why are adverts so loud? [video]
- simonblack 3y agoAdvert loudness should match the sound levels of the main program. People yelling at me will immediately cause me to mute the channel. If I happen to be watching time-shifted programs, I will automatically fast-forward through the ads. So, extra loud adverts will always backfire on the advertiser where I'm concerned. I will find a way to avoid them wherever possible.
- johncole 3y agoSame. I try to mute all the ads, especially if they're loud. It doesn't make sense to stand out from the content in my view.
