I tried to guess which direction they'd go before opening the link. I guessed: Helvetica logo, flatter design (it's already flat, so maybe removing the little android character and going for something abstract like a triangle). I was actually pleased to be wrong. I felt the flat logo craze had already worn out its welcome by 2016, so it's nice to think that maybe we can all have pretty logos again soon. (I'll give myself half a point for Helvetica. It's not that exact font, but it's a move in that direction.)
