- Zigurd 3y agoThat's why incompetency and or psychological self-destructiveness is a more likely explanation for why Twitter has gone so badly. Elon finally agreed to buy it and pay for it because litigation looked worse. It is likely he thought he could flip Twitter, if not for a profit, then at least at less cost than a settlement or a judgment against him. This was a completely impulsive move. He was totally unprepared.
