To me, this is the biggest challenge that comes with having ADHD as an adult. The quality of my work slips if I can't find some sort of novelty in it. It doesn't always have to be greenfield, though. It can be complex and layered with legacy problems, it just has to be something I haven't explored before to be engaging. Right now I'm lucky to have a job where I'm assigned tasks from a variety of projects, modes and tools which really helps keep me focused.
