- whizzter 3y agoSeems sane, don't think many people had any Apple association with The Beatles (that were/are the brand themselves) so getting a big payout for the trademark w/o further legal costs probably benefited them the most (and Apple trading under that name needed to put that to rest so they probably made sure that the payout was big enough).
