I'm a big fan of the statue of liberty idea. I'm surprised nobody making copper statues puts either a lacquer on them, or some sort of sacrificial anode. (if that's even possible for copper)
I assume the green look is preferable.
- vintagedave 3y agoWhen roofs are restored with copper they are incredibly, uncomfortably bright in sunlight. Much worse than reflective windows. The dimming as they corrode is a welcome relief if you live or walk nearby. I do like the idea of a glowing Statue of Liberty though.
